I'm certain many of you won't get the joke in the subject line, being so young and all.

This is just a note to say yes, I am here. You've seen me around school, just not on the boards. I got behind on reading all these posts, and after trying to catch up, I realize I'm just not going to be able to.

So, I'm starting from now. If there's something I should see, please feel free to point me to it. And if you're new and we haven't met, drop me a note or come by my office, or catch me in the hallway and introduce yourself.

Now that I've finally gotten a moment free (getting back into the swing of classes is difficult - especially the teaching part, though it is rather enjoyable..), I should likely introduce myself, too, though I'm sorry for being so brief. Very much in need of food and nicotine.

I'm Shinobi Shaw. Arrived with Pete and Emma back in the.. second week of December, I think it was? Around then, anyway. I think I've seen you in the halls once or twice, but I've never taken the time out to say hello.

Teaching is either something you can do, or you can't. Most people can. Don't listen to the old adage, "Those who can, do. Those who can't, teach." It's hogwash.

I think we have passed each other, but I've been a bit distracted. I must admit, I was concerned when you arrived, and mentioned my concerns to Emma. We should definitely talk sometime. Maybe over breakfast before classes tomorrow?

And thank you for making me feel not so old by getting the reference in the subject. As repayment, I know where Ororo hides the good coffee, and where Paige hides the good tea. Your choice tomorrow morning, if you have the time.

I should have time before classes tomorrow, sure. I really should meet more of the people here - especially those who have or had concerns about me. Avoiding them doesn't really do much to quell those worries, even if the avoidance is unintentional, on my part.

Considering when my classes start up.. coffee. Definitely, definitely coffee. I'll be there with bells on.

Welcome back Mr. Summers. I'm going to be able to get my learner's permit soon and was hoping I could get some driving lessons after that?

I'm surprised you haven't asked Jamie to give you lessons. Or maybe you have, and he directed you to me?

We can definitely schedule some lesson time in, Kitty. As long as you don't phase anything vital out of the car, you should do just fine.

Well, I hadn't asked him, but then I won't be able to technically get my permit for a couple months, so it's still just sort of an idea.

I doubt I could do anything to the car. I mean, outside of phasing the whole thing, or phasing something and putting it inside the car (which definitely qualifies as a BAD idea) I doubt I could affect it.
