But I've got to give a big thumbs-up to Boiler Beach. Jamie, this is definitely one of your better ideas.

It's funny, but I feel a little too energetic after having been down there for an hour or so. Or maybe not so funny - I do absorb sunlight to power my optic blasts, after all. I just didn't think I'd get the same effect with non-natural sunlight. I suppose it would be bad to sit down there all night or something and see what I felt like in the morning?

You think I'd get that hyper? Huh... Jean ran an experiment on me once that involved keeping me out of the sunlight for a while. Didn't turn out too well. We never tried to figure out what might be too much sunlight.

Well, I've looked at those results, and Moira and I were chatting one morning about various powers and sources of energy and the like, and we did some hypothesizing. "Hyper as Miles on pixie sticks" was the expression Moira used. Only with a Scottish accent and all.

Me, I'm tempted to run the experiment. *eg*

So let's do it.

Seriously! There's nothing that actively needs my attention just now. I can camp out on the beach and we'll see precisely what kind of state I'm in come morning...

Purely in the name of science, you understand. I'll stock up on sunscreen if I'm going to supervise this - you may not need it, but I certainly do. It's hard to be taken seriously when your nose is peeling...
