The people who've pointed out what a singularly poor role model I was last night are entirely right. I had no business getting that drunk in the first place or making that post. I won't attempt to justify either, mostly because I can't, but also because I really couldn't begin to say what I was thinking.

It was entirely inappropriate and won't be happening again. If anyone would like to speak to me further on the subject, whatever they'd like to say, please let me know.

To my fellow staff members, if you have any suggestions as to how I could make amends for the aforementioned act of idiocy, I'm all ears.

I think you have the right to do whatever you want to do when you're off duty, and even you get to be off duty sometimes, sir.

As long as you didn't drive drunk then you broke no laws nor school rules, although I'm sorry there was such a fuss.

I'm also sorry if my comments seemed other than joking, which is what they were meant to be. It was probably inappropriate of me.

Honestly, Scott... All you really did was say things you probably already should have, albeit in a more restrained manner.

Perhaps it's just me, but This should simply serve as a lesson that no matter what kind of pedestal one expects a person to climb up, they're still only human. I would have to say I don't need, require, wish, nor want an apology. But I recognize that it's your way to do so regardless, and so.

Making the post was the dumb part. You can get that drunk if you feel the need to.

We've got standards to maintain and all that. And as far as amends go - maybe a nice little seminar on the dangers of mixing alcohol and mutantcy, or just the dangers of alcohol in general?

I know you have excellent control even when blitzed out of your mind, but there are people here who do not. And I don't think Mr Marko would approve much if one of the children got trashed and levelled the Mansion because the drink dulled his control.

I have slides! And a nifty presentation on the effects of alcohol on the body, good and bad! I'm hitting Cece and my classes with it this week, but a general seminar sounds like a good idea, especially with including a section on mutancy. We could rope Pete in for the social aspects...

Oh, and one more thing... Don't be so hard on yourself, Scott. YOu screwed up, yes, but so have we all, and some of us far more spectacularly. Make amends, move on, and for goodness' sake, don't beat yourself to death over this.

I'm with Kitty - you didn't do anybody any harm or break any laws, and it's not like you do stuff like this all the time. Or ever before this that I've seen. No need to chew yourself up so much over just the post.
