Spring break

I really am ridiculously tired this week, for no good reason - it's not like we're in mid-crisis, and given that we're on the verge of spring break, the administrative work's been quieter. I just wish I could justify jumping on a plane and going somewhere equatorial. Sunlamps just don't cut it.

Plus I suppose I'm afraid that if we went away, there would be crisis. Look at what happened the last two times I was in a different country.

I have midterms next week, which is keeping me off the San Diego trip, but they're all Monday to Wednesday. Is any of the paperwork... non-sensitive enough to be foisted on an assistant? (Or, for that matter, on other people who could then foist some of their less sensitive paperwork on an assistant.)

Perhaps your tiredness is contagious. The first two times I read this, I was convinced it said "justify jumping off a plane somewhere equatorial." and I could not understand why if you wanted to go parachuting, you did not just do it here.
