So, I'm back. Some of you might have seen me come stumbling in from the airport late last night - it was not a good flight, and that's putting it mildly.

The visit, however, was... quite nice. Alex is going to stay for a little while longer, but I figured it was about time I got myself back here. Not that I don't think the place can't get along without me, but there's a limit to how long I can be comfortable letting it. (That was actually a joke. You can all laugh now.)

Besides. I've always liked spending New Year's here.
