All right.

Anyone want to confess?

Whoever did it - you know what I'm talking about.

It wasn't me. Unless you meant the fake jar of peanuts with the spring-snakes in the kitchen. That was me.

You're sure it wasn't you?

You were the first suspect on my list. Then again... hmm. I may have been demonstrating a lack of imagination.

If I'm not the first suspect on people's lists then I'm doing something wrong, but I can't remember having specifically pranked you recently. :) What happened?

And while I've got you here, can I get another piece of homework for engineering? Lockheed won't give mine back. I think it's his hoard now.

[identity profile] x-cyclops.livejournal.com 2004-10-04 03:26 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm not telling. And I'm not wearing it.

I've just emailed that homework exercise to you - try and keep this one away from the dragon.

Embarrassing clothes are usually Lorna, in my experience. :)

I meant the actual part, though--got the written done already, but the little thief ran off with my broken plane-widget.

[identity profile] x-cyclops.livejournal.com 2004-10-04 03:37 pm (UTC)(link)
Uh-huh... now there's a possibility. Given the slogan.

I'll swing downstairs and get you another part - I'll drop it by your room later.

And this is me saying right now that this is the first and last time I want to hear 'The dragon ate my homework.'

[identity profile] x-crowdofone.livejournal.com 2004-10-04 03:39 pm (UTC)(link)
Thanks, sir. And noted. Even though I'm pretty sure he didn't actually eat it.

Slogan?

[identity profile] x-cyclops.livejournal.com 2004-10-04 03:40 pm (UTC)(link)
'My job is secure - No one wants it.'

[identity profile] x-crowdofone.livejournal.com 2004-10-04 03:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Except Paige, I think. :)

[identity profile] x-cyclops.livejournal.com 2004-10-04 03:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Ohhh. So maybe this is some kind of fiendish plan to put me off-guard?

I see it now.

[identity profile] x-crowdofone.livejournal.com 2004-10-04 04:03 pm (UTC)(link)
Yep. She's sneaky, is Paige. Luring you into a false sense of security while she schemes after your job. S' a good thing I was able to figure it out in time to warn you, or you might've woken up one day with nothing to do but pursue your hobbies, and I'm pretty sure a motorcycle can only get so souped up.

[identity profile] x-cyclops.livejournal.com 2004-10-04 04:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh dear God. Just the idea of a day with nothing to do but pursue my hobbies...

My head would explode.

[identity profile] x-foliate.livejournal.com 2004-10-04 05:29 pm (UTC)(link)
I didn't do it, but I'm more than willing to take credit and cackle madly in the background if you'd like.

Right after I'm done chasing down Jamie. I'm not exactly what for yet, but I'm sure there was some kind of insult in his commentary above.

[identity profile] x-crowdofone.livejournal.com 2004-10-04 05:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Insult? Far be it from me. I think I called you ambitious and clever and a good planner. :)

[identity profile] x-foliate.livejournal.com 2004-10-04 05:51 pm (UTC)(link)
That's what I thought.

(Thanks, chickpea.)

[identity profile] x-cyclops.livejournal.com 2004-10-04 06:21 pm (UTC)(link)
You do that. You're awfully cute when you cackle.

But I see the t-shirt bandit's hit a few other people. Makes me wonder how many other people got them and just aren't sharing...

[identity profile] x-kitten.livejournal.com 2004-10-04 10:59 pm (UTC)(link)
He didn't eat it, sir, he stole it. I'll see if I can get it back, but I think Jamie's right - it's hoard.
