I have no paperwork.

What a distressing state of affairs. I think my co-headperson and our loyal secretary have stolen it all. I'm sitting in the office - under lights that are very nice, thank you, Rahne - and I have next to nothing to do. You'd think I was still on vacation.

Speaking of vacations, and thus casual activities that some people might describe as "fun", I noticed your motorcycle's been signed out a few times - all before your secret little getaway.

This mean you're back to riding? Because I have an idea...

I wouldn't say I'm back to my old self on the bike just yet, but yeah, I'm back to riding. What's your idea?

On a straightaway course, about how fast would you say that bike can go?

Up for testing it out? Say, against another recently-registered and now fully street legal automobile?

Because tomorrow's a big holiday that I hear involves this "outside" thing, and there happens to be a decommissioned airstrip about five miles north of Salem Center that's got almost a full mile of flat, level tarmac.

It's not exactly "racing for pink slips", but if you're interested in finding out if you've still got the love for speed, well...

Then again, if not, that's cool. Some people do need to slow down past their prime and all.

... that, to me, sounds like a challenge. You're on.

Whatever you've done to that car, there's no way it's as manueverable as the bike. We'll just see who's eating whose dust in the morning.

you aren't the only one with no life you know.

except you're married and you DO have a life. or at least, a wife.
